Why Invest in Kagara?

Kagara Ltd has a clear five-year growth strategy to become a dominant ASX-listed zinc and copper producer. This growth strategy encompasses a clear three-stage road map, key elements of which include:

  • Growing zinc and copper production in North Queensland to a targeted level of 120ktpa zinc and 30ktpa copper by 2016, while at the same time driving its operations down the cost curve through business improvement initiatives, increased production and a strong cost management focus;

  • A $50 million exploration program over FY12 and FY13 focused on re-building the resource inventory across the Company’s three regional production hubs in North Queensland to establish an 8-12 year production outlook in each region;

  • Structuring Kagara Ltd with the systems and personnel to become an ASX-100 mining company;

  • The rationalisation of Kagara Ltd’s non-core assets, including its Forrestania Nickel Project in Western Australia, to support its growth strategy in North Queensland;

  • Assessing the Admiral Bay Zinc Project in Western Australia as a potential world-class zinc production asset; and

  • Develop the Company as a regional leader in finding and developing base metal assets throughout Australia and selected South East Asian countries.
